60 GHz WAVEGUIDE RADIO MODULES AND DEVELOPMENT SYSTEMS
Vubiq now offers a fully integrated 60 GHz radio capable of blazing gigabit-per-second file transfer and pure uncompressed high definition video streaming though a standard WR-15 waveguide interface, allowing for customers to select a waveguide component (antennas, etc.) that fits their specific application. Vubiq’s use of silicon-based integrated circuits and proprietary packaging technologies have resulted in a very low cost solution, a fraction of the price of the Gallium Arsenide or Indium Phosphide semiconductors currently on the market.
These low cost, extremely high bandwidth radios will be an ideal solution for a number of industries, including telecommunications “last kilometer” distribution, telecommunications backhaul, point-to-point data communications, and uncompressed high definition video transport, among others.
