V60WGD02 60 GHz Waveguide Development System
In addition to the individual 60 GHz waveguide modules themselves, Vubiq also makes available a 60 GHz Waveguide Development System, for simple setup, experimentation, and application development in the 60 GHz band, allowing developers to define the baseband technology of their choice.
This Development System incorporates a USB/PC interface for easy configuration and control. A user-friendly GUI is supplied, allowing for development of such varied applications as point-to-point data communications, telecommunications distribution and backhaul, wireless gigabit Ethernet, wireless uncompressed high definition video transport, and low cost RADAR.
Users have a selection of differential interfaces for I/Q (vector) modulation, FM or AM. These signals are brought out to a high-speed header connector for easy system integration. An adapter board is included that transitions the high-speed header to coaxial (MCX) connectors of all baseband signals enabling simplified testing.

Expansion Board Kit
The V60WGD02 includes a High Speed Expansion Board Kit, which contains two daughter cards and 8 coaxial cables. The daughter cards fit into the high speed header connectors on both the Tx and Rx Boards of the Development System, and are configured to allow phase matched MCX to SMA coaxial cables to connect baseband data into the Development System for convenient lab and test interconnection.
