V60WGD02 60 GHz Waveguide Development System

In addition to the individual 60 GHz waveguide modules themselves, Vubiq also offers a 60 GHz Waveguide Development System, for simple setup, experimentation, and application development in the 60 GHz band, allowing developers to define the baseband technology of their choice.

The Development System incorporates a USB/PC interface with a user-friendly GUI hosted on a PC for easy configuration and control. A configuration can be saved to non-volatile memory so the boards can be used "stand-alone" and powered either from USB connection or the included 5V AC Adapters.
Users have a selection of differential interfaces for I/Q (vector) modulation, FM or AM. These signals are brought out to a high-speed header connector for easy system integration.

Expansion Board Kit
The V60WGD02 includes a High Speed Expansion Board Kit, which contains two daughter cards and 8 coaxial cables. The daughter cards fit into the high speed header connectors on both the Tx and Rx Boards of the Development System, and are configured to allow phase matched MCX to SMA coaxial cables to connect baseband data into the Development System for convenient lab and test interconnection.

Vubiq offers a 24dbi Laboratory-Reference, WR-15 flange V-Band Standard Gain antenna that is perfect for experimenting at short distances in a Lab environment. With a minimum (far-field) distance of 1 meter between a transmitter and receiver your 60GHz wireless testing can proceed with confidence. Communication range using this antenna is typically from 30 to 50 meters depending upon bandwidth and modulation. Order Model VSGANT24

High Gain Antenna

Vubiq also offers a 100mm WR15 flange 34dbi gain horn antenna with a minumum (far-field) distance of 4 meters for longer distance experimentation. Communication range with this antenna is typically from 200 to 300 meters depending upon bandwidth and modulation. Order Model VHGANT34
